Welding is an extremely large industry. Everything from sky scrapers, your car, to even some jewelry. In your daily life you will have touched something that was impacted by a welder. Welding is really technical with a lot of codes, certifications, and processes that need to be followed in order to make sure jobs are done within certain parameters.

As a sculptor, I love to break these regulations and codes, to push the limits in such a rigorous trade. To be able to bend material into unique shapes. To take such a raw and robust material and add contour, dimension, and texture to bring something to life and see the flow and energy throughout the whole piece.

My goal as an artist is to take a dirty trade that I love and turn it into something clean and beautiful to the eye. Something people will love to share.
